Anniston Grace | Tallahassee, FL Lifestyle Newborn Portrait Photographer

Born January 2nd at 2:37pm weighing 8 lbs, 11 ounces and 21.25 inches long to her adoring parents and excited sister, Anniston Grace is proving to be a wonderful baby and absolute delight to her family.  She continues to develop every day and I was blessed to be able to spend some time with her and her family one early morning.  With their being such wonderful friends, it was truly my pleasure to be able to create some beautiful images.  Ok fine, maybe it also had a little sumpin’ sumpin’ to do with their serving me breakfast too.  Details…

Duncan | Tallahassee, FL Lifestyle Pet Companion Photographer

And you’ve been wondering where I’ve been…

Meet Duncan, our newest member of the Johnston household.  He’s our 7 week old purebred German Shorthaired Pointer all the way from Pikeville, TN.  He’s already going a long way to fill the void left by our sweet boy Bowdunn.  To this day, I can only type so much before the keyboard gets glossed over by tears (I’ll admit it), but this little fella is a welcome addition.  And I think Bowdunn would be proud to have Duncan in the house.

I promise as soon as we figure out our new routine, I’ll get back in the groove and back to more frequent posts.  I’ve got a few in the hopper and they’ll be up soon enough.

So, what started out as a cute little trendy idea last year that everyone else was doing has turned into our own magical self-disciplining tool.  Ok…I finally get it.  But more importantly, so does my son.  Tis the season…

The Tyler Family | Tallahassee FL Lifestyle Family Portrait Photographer

I had the pleasure of spending a quick afternoon with a good friend of mine to capture some images of her two sweet little boys.  With her husband unable to join us, she did her absolute best to wrangle those two little balls of energy in so we could snap a few while the light was still soft and beautiful.  If you’ve ever tried to herd two little boys in under the age of 4, you’ll know what I’m talking about.  :)

And although she wasn’t thrilled to be in front of my camera, mom was steadfast, determined, and absolutely hilarious to be with so we finally managed to grab a few.  Enjoy a little sampling below!

Suzanne & Brian | Tallahassee, FL Lifestyle Engagement Portrait Photographer

I was stoked to shoot Suzanne & Brian’s engagement portraits recently in advance of what I know will be their beautiful wedding this coming year!  They have already proven to be a really fun couple who have a great chemistry together and know how to work it for the camera.  Making full use of the surrounding area around their place on Lake Bradford, we were able to capture some gorgeous images for them and explore the hidden beauties of my favorite city.
