LeeAnn found me while perusing the images from a mutual friend whose wedding I recently shot. When she called me to see if I was interested in shooting an Engagement Session in Madison County I thought to myself, “Really??? Madison County? Really?” I mean, my only impression of Madison was that it was just another exit off I-10 on my drives to Live Oak to visit my wife’s family. I usually hope that I don’t get snagged by a State Trooper when going through Madison…that’s about all the thought I give it. What I didn’t know was that LeeAnn had an Ace up her sleeve to get me there. That Ace’s name? It’s “Titan”. Titan is her strong, beautiful 8 year old Weimaraner that I learned would be included in their images. I was sold. If you know me or have kept up with this blog, you know I have a soft spot in my heart for dogs…especially Weims.
LeeAnn and her fiance’, Cheney, invited me to photograph them at LeeAnn’s family’s cattle ranch. Now, I don’t know what you envision when you think of a cattle ranch, but I can tell you that their ranch didn’t meet my expectations. It was beautiful, dotted with majestic Live Oaks and wrapped around a pristine (apparently bass-filled) lake. It was an amazing day that introduced me to a gorgeous couple…on a stunning piece of property…in a corner of Florida that I would have never appreciated otherwise.
LeeAnn…you had me at “Titan”. Thank you for a great time and a great session. I hope to work with y’all again in the future! Enjoy these few (I struggled to narrow them down) images from your collection!
