CedaRidge Outfitters | Whigham, GA Outdoor Sportsman Portrait Photography

This past weekend marked the end of dove season in both Georgia and Florida; for my wife that simply means that I move on from one of my vices to yet another (cue rolling eyes from wife).  So, this is where I transition from trying to shoot birds back to trying to score birdies on the golf course.  Goodbye camouflage, hello plaid!!  [insert evil smirk here]  But I digress…

Realizing that this was our last hunt, I took the opportunity to shoot some portraits of the guys before we called it a year.  As in previous years, I truly enjoyed the camaraderie and the good times shared among the many people who hunt with us.  We’re a diverse group of people, coming from all walks of life, but we find fellowship in the call of the wild and those elusive white winged dove that Fleetwood Mac made famous.  Enjoy these quick in-the-field portraits of my friends and fellow hunters.  Unfortunately, some had to leave early and weren’t available to make the final club shot.  It’s unfortunate for them, but great for me as it was tough enough getting all these other clowns to stand still.  And I thought it was tough working with the infants?!
