Whitney & Jim | Tallahassee, FL Lifestyle Engagement Portrait Photographer

In my 14 years of living in Tallahassee (off and on…mostly on), Whitney and Jim are the first people to have introduced me to the peaceful and serene Lichgate Park on High Road centered around the majestic Live Oak.  Quiet and unassuming, you’d never notice it when driving down High Road.  But in its simplicity, we found a perfect setting to capture a few images for these two.  It holds a special meaning to them as it’s where Whitney’s scavenger hunt culminated with Jim surprising her with a quiet proposal.

We also ventured into the Railroad Square Art Park to capture a bit of the funky side and let their personalities shine through.  I had a great time with Whitney and Jim and wish them the very best for their future together.  I mean, really, anyone who can keep up with me and have a full-on conversation using nothing but movie quotes is “good peeps” in my book!  Enjoy a few images from their day and show them some love in the comments below.
