When Ely first got in touch with me to shoot her maternity session I was excited because I always enjoy working with ladies during the peak of their pregnancy, especially now that my wife is reaching that point as well. However, Ely had some pretty specific ideas and a unique creative vision of what she wanted to do and how she wanted to celebrate her pregnancy and showcase her shape. When she sent me some images of shots she’d like to try to emulate, I have to admit that I was a bit *surprised* but even more eager to see if I could pull them off! I love a challenge and I love seeing how one’s creative vision reflects their own unique style and personality. Realizing this is probably her last, Ely is truly embracing this pregnancy and the beautiful figure she has taken on as a result and wanted to capture some images of her form as she carries the amazing gift inside of her.
Under the piercing, judgemental gaze of her husband Jon (just kidding 
–I’m pretty sure he was the most chill out of all of us) and several jokes about needing some alcohol, we tastefully and elegantly celebrated Ely’s maternity through my lens. I’m proud to offer a sneak peek of Ely’s images below.
